2016 Brimbank Writers and Readers Festival

Summary

Twenty-four events, including panel discussions, interviews, workshops, storytelling and more, will be held during the 11 day festival which runs from 1 to 11 September.

Two of Australia’s most fascinating women, Dr Susan Carland and Clementine Ford, will headline the opening night of the 2016 Brimbank Writers and Readers Festival on Thursday 1 September.

Twenty-four events, including panel discussions, interviews, workshops, storytelling and more, will be held during the 11 day festival which runs from 1 to 11 September.

Chair of Brimbank Administrators, Mr John Watson said Council was thrilled to present this year’s festival.

Council has planned 11 days of events which will bring together a range of writers, storytellers, poets and more.

There is no charge to attend any of the events, but bookings are essential for most.
