A street market, pop-up park, talent quest and community performances will all feature in a two-day community event in Alfrieda Street, St Albans, on Friday 18 and Saturday 19 March 2016.
The street market featuring delicious food and more from local traders will be open both days, and into the evening on Friday.
On Friday from 5 to 8pm, Neil Ta and the Kealba School of Music St Albans will present community-based music performances and martial arts demonstrations.
On Saturday from 12noon to 4.30pm, Good Shepherd in St Albans has arranged a program of dance hall, singing and rapping, followed by a talent quest with a first place cash prize of $500 and second prize of a laptop.
The event is being hosted by Brimbank City Council with the support of the St Albans Business Group Association.
