Keilor Community Hub 1st Birthday Celebrations

It’s been one year since we opened the new doors at Keilor Community Hub, so it’s now time to celebrate. When the hub opened last April, we hoped it would establish its place as an integral and valued community asset. Twelve months in, that’s clearly the case.

  • Saturday 14 April, 11am-2pm
    Keilor Community Hub,
    704B Old Calder Highway,
    No Charge

It’s still the ‘go to’ place for all Council-related business as it houses the Keilor Customer Service Centre. But in addition, the hub’s also home to the new Keilor Library, neighbourhood house programs, arts spaces and community meeting rooms – all of which the community has embraced and become familiar with over this period.

Come and help us celebrate the first birthday of the Keilor Community Hub and acknowledge the significance of this wonderful community facility.

There will be lots of fun with children's activities, art and craft activities, BBQ, plus much more.

  • Story time with Fairy Lulu
  • Face painting
  • Indigenous Art drop-in session
  • Birthday cake
  • Neighbourhood House Activities
  • Customer Service

We would love to see you there – all welcome. For more information visit Brimbank Libraries or call 9249 4171.

Hampshire Road Upgrade

We’re transforming the ‘heart’ of Sunshine into an attractive, well-planned space that's easy to negotiate. Work is currently underway along Hampshire Road between the Man lifting cow statue at the corner of Bennett Place and Service Street.

To complete work on new raised pedestrian crossings, this section of Hampshire Road will be temporarily closed, from Wednesday 4 April until Tuesday 24 April.

Please obey traffic signs and follow the detours in place. Pedestrian access through Hampshire Road remains open to allow easy access to local businesses, however a section of footpath has been fenced off for safety.

For more details visit Hampshire Rd Upgrade or call 9249 4000.
