Celebrate Cultural Diversity Week with a range of events in our libraries, neighbourhood houses and community centres. Some of the events include a Cultural Family Tree, Bilingual Storytime, Inter Cultural Sports and Dance, Harmony Lantern Making and much more.

Another event not to be missed is a We Are Brimbank Pop Up Cafe on Friday 23 – Sunday 25 March on Alfrieda Street, St Albans. Come along and enjoy a taste of Brimbank with local entertainment and food on offer. More information below.

We are one of the most culturally diverse municipalities in Australia and this is a great opportunity to celebrate our diverse and proud community spirit.

Cultural Diversity Week is Victoria’s largest multicultural celebration, featuring a week-long program of festivals and events in metropolitan and regional areas.

Cultural Diversity Week is held annually in March to coincide with the United Nations Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination and Harmony Day on 21 March.

The event is presented by the Victorian Multicultural Commission, with support from the Victorian Government.
