This free community event will take place in the busy Sunshine shopping precinct along Hampshire Road, Sunshine, from 10am to 8pm.
It will be a full day of family fun, entertainment, rides, street performers, music, and food of many nations. The lantern parade will celebrate the full moon before the event finishes with a spectacular firework.
Other activities will include children’s rides, jumping castles, market stalls, street food, face-painting, lantern making, and a display of muscle and custom cars from Route66 Car and Bike Club.
Local, multicultural, live entertainment will feature on a performance stage in front of Sunshine Plaza.
This year Hampshire Road will be closed to all traffic between Devonshire Road and Hertford Road during the festival.
