When it comes to dining and entertainment, St Albans has so much to offer!
The Bowery Theatre at STACC (the St Albans Community Centre) brings together an exciting performance space and vibrant community centre – all under the one roof.
Opened in March 2017, the Bowery is a state-of-the-art 202-seat theatre. The Bowery Theatre is named after the iconic local-born artist and provocateur Leigh Bowery. The theatre’s tag line “Be Bold!” was inspired by Bowery and sets the tone for a variety of rich and creative experiences that reflect Brimbank’s diverse communities.
As well as performances, STACC is proud to present exciting exhibitions in the Jack Sheridan Atrium and a diverse range of classes and activities.
While in St Albans, take advantage of the array of tantalising dining opportunities, all within a short walk from STACC. St Albans restaurants were recently featured as part of the Melbourne Food and Wine festival, in March this year. With a range of cuisines on offer – including Vietnamese, Indian, Italian, and Serbian to name just a few – St Albans dining reflects Brimbank’s proud cultural diversity.
