Circus Oz Shares the Joy

Roll up, roll up! Circus Oz is coming to Brimbank to run an exciting range of workshops for adults, teens and kids!

Circus Oz is running an exciting range of workshops for adults, teens and kids aged six and up at no charge at RT Pollard Gardens, Sunshine in March and April 2016.

Circus goers will take part in an icebreaker game, skills warm up and then get down to learning some fun, new skills.

Workshops will offer an introduction to circus skills such as:

  • juggling with balls; scarves; rings and other items
  • plate spinning
  • acro-balance and creating human pyramids
  • handstands
  • hula-hooping and more!

Circus Oz was started in Melbourne and has been putting on extraordinary shows for more than 35 years from New York to South American rainforests, Madrid to outback Australia.

Circus Oz workshops are open to people of all levels of experience and ability.

Every participant needs to have a consent form signed either by themselves (over 18's) or by a legal parent or guardian (under 18's) before commencing the workshop.

The circus classes are a fun way to get active and are offered as part of the VicHealth funded project B-active@Pollard.

Circus Oz workshops will be held over two weeks:

  • Tuesday 29 March to Friday 1 April - sessions run 10-11.30am and 11.45am-1.15pm
  • Monday 4 April to Wednesday 6 April - sessions run 10-11.30am and 11.45am-1.15pm
