New Information November 2020

Two (2) environmental assessment reports, prepared for Sunshine Energy Park, have been completed by independent experts (GHD). 

1. ‘Closed Hulett Street Landfill at Sunshine Energy Park – Vapour Risk Assessment’ (GHD) July 2020
2. ‘Closed Hulett Street Landfill at Sunshine Energy Park – Landfill Gas Risk Assessment’ (GHD) July 2020

The reports confirm previous independent assessments that the health risks to residents and workers are low and acceptable and expected to reduce further with time as the landfills get older.

These reports complement similar assessment reports prepared for the Carrington Drive Reserve section of the closed Sunshine Landfills which were provided on USB to impacted properties in February 2020.
