Explore Kurung Drive Reserve in Kings Park

Summary

Have you visited Kurung Drive Reserve in Kings Park lately?

We’ve completed a $400,000 upgrade at the reserve this year – adding a combined basketball and netball court, soccer/rugby post, space to kick a ball, new play equipment, a maze, shelter, BBQ area and much more.

Here at Kurung Drive we have created a beautiful new play and gathering space, with plenty of open space to exercise and relax.

It’s a wonderful place where children, families and friends can get together and play in the new maze and playground, be active with new courts and a circuit pathway, and socialise with great new seating and shelter.

Planning a picnic? Kurung Drive Reserve has everything you need including tables, a BBQ, drinking fountain and shelter.

You’ll also notice we’ve planted 140 trees which will grow and provide a beautiful green space for our community to share.

Creating high quality, attractive open spaces are good for our physical and mental health, and support people to get outside and be active.

This is all part of Council’s ongoing commitment to the Creating Better Parks Policy and Plan. Since being originally adopted in 2008, Council has invested almost $32 million upgrading and creating 105 parks in Brimbank.

So what are you waiting for? Come and visit Kurung Drive Reserve and enjoy all the benefits of outdoor activity.
