“I’m passionate about making our City a place where people want to live, and I enjoy supporting local residents through my role as a Brimbank Councillor.
“As a long-term resident of Brimbank, and an active member of several community groups, I am keen to make Brimbank an even more welcoming and supportive place for everyone.
“Brimbank’s rich diversity is among our greatest strengths, and I’m extremely proud to support our community members and build greater connections in the community.
“I love seeing Brimbank thrive - our city is growing and evolving into an important hub in Melbourne’s west.
“I want to see more development and investment in Brimbank so that we become a major regional employment and transport hub for Melbourne’s west.
“Our growing community is really important to me, and I want to ensure good access to housing and employment in our municipality, and support for young people to live active, healthy lives.
“For me, it’s a privilege to be part of a Council working on programs and plans that are aimed at creating a better Brimbank for all of us.
“As a Councillor, engaging with our community and working towards its wellbeing is a top priority. This month I joined local community members in Sunshine to commemorate the Day of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Vietnam, and honour with pride those who have fallen during the Vietnam War. It’s great that we have a wonderful memorial at Kevin Wheelahan Gardens as a local place for families to remember our fallen soldiers.
“It’s an absolute privilege to attend community events and meet residents and groups across our municipality, and I look forward to meeting even more of our community in the coming months.”
