Brimbank City Council is calling on local residents, employees and visitors to share what is most important to them about their local town centre.

Council is taking a positive step towards improving the vibrancy and character of town centres across Brimbank, by inviting the community to complete a five-minute online survey on the ideal town centre.

Brimbank Mayor Cr Margaret Giudice said that it is paramount that our community has a voice in determining the future shape of our town centres.

“This is an opportunity for our community to have their say on what matters most to them about the look and feel of their local town centre.

“Knowing what is important to our community helps Council plan for the future of local town centres, including improvements to streets, public spaces and amenities.

“We want to create vibrant, welcoming and safe town centres and much loved areas that are important to our community and visitors alike,” said Cr Giudice.

The online survey is open for public comment for four weeks from now until 5pm on Monday 23 July.
