
COVID-19 Update:
From Thursday 18 February 2021 Sunshine Leisure Centre and St Albans Pop-up Gym will reopen to the public, in line with the Victorian State Government’s easing of COVID-19 restrictions.
As always, the safety of patrons and staff is our first priority. Your face mask must be worn at all times when visiting these facilities except when in the pool, exercising, eating or drinking.

Facilities
Brimbank Council operates two leisure centres in Sunshine and St Albans.
Sunshine Leisure Centre facilities include:
- 25m pool with ladder access and hoist to help people with injuries or disabilities
- 20m program pool with ramp entry
- Fun pool with easy entry access, beach entry and water features
- Heated 25m outdoor pool and children's splash park
- Shaded outdoor areas seating, lawns, change rooms, and a BBQ
- 12 person spa or steam room for relaxing
- 24/7 gymnasium and health club
- Crèche
A temporary St Albans Pop-Up Gym is currently in place while we construct Brimbank’s new health and wellbeing hub to replace the old St Albans Leisure Centre.
The pop-up gym caters to all abilities and fitness levels with:
- Training zones hosting cardio gear
- Pin loaded weight machines
- Stretching area
- Large free weights area
- Group fitness classes
