Make Your Local Area Safer - Join a Safety Working Group

Interested in tackling local safety issues? If graffiti, anti-social behaviour or other safety issues is your concern, join a Safety Working Group!

Safety Working Groups provide feedback and get involved in projects that help Council and Victoria Police address neighbourhood safety concerns, so that everyone can enjoy living in Brimbank.

You'd represent your local areas: St Albans, Deer Park, Sunshine, Sydenham and Keilor.

For more information or to nominate for a position on a local Safety Working Group contact your local area Council Engagement Officer:

Or download an Expression of Interest Form on our Community Safety page.

Expressions of Interest close 5pm Friday 23 October 2015.

The Safety Working Group will also assist in the implementation of the Brimbank Community Safety Framework and Action Plan (2012-2015) .

Safety Working Groups have been active in Brimbank since 2013. It is an initiative where the community works in partnership with Victoria Police and the Department of Justice.
