Brimbank City Council is making Maternal and Child Health (MCH) services even more accessible to the community by introducing a new fast and easy online appointment service.
The new service signals an innovative change that will provide parents and carers with the option to make, cancel or reschedule their child’s MCH appointment online at any time of the day or night, by simply visiting brimbank.vic.gov.au/mchappointment.
Brimbank Mayor Cr Margaret Giudice said that Council is very excited to offer the new online MCH services to the community.
“We want to ensure all families can easily access their child’s regular health and development checks using our new MCH online services.
“To help give children a great start in life, parents and carers now have the flexibility to book all key age and stage appointments from 4 months of age, through the convenient online service.
“It’s important that we expand maternal and child health services for our growing community and continue to support innovative approaches that achieve the best outcomes for families,” Cr Giudice said.
To help families access MCH services from birth - the central booking officers will book all appointments for babies from birth to 8 weeks of age.
The online appointment service is available through any device including PC, laptop, iPad and Smartphone (Android and iOS).
The new online MCH appointment service at brimbank.vic.gov.au/mchappointment will be available from Monday 23 July 2018.
