Protecting the amenity, safety and enjoyment of your neighbourhood

Share your thoughts and ideas with Council for an update of:

The General Local Law that sets out legally enforceable standards to protect amenity and safety in neighbourhoods, main streets and public places (from overhanging branches to footpath trading)

The Domestic Animal Management Plan that outlines Council’s programs, services and strategies relating to the management of dogs and cats in the municipality (from feral cats to off-leash parks).

These documents set out policies and regulations so that the community can enjoy local neighbourhoods, main streets and public places.

Council has started a process to update the documents and your ideas can help shape the new documents.
