Summary

You can get energy saving advice on how to reduce your household power bill through a new partnership with Positive Charge.

We've partnered with Positive Charge, a not-for-profit social enterprise established by the Moreland Energy Foundation to offer households independent and low cost access to affordable solar panels via a bulk buy scheme.

  • When: Thursday 16 November, 6-8pm (more workshops will be held in 2018)
  • Where: Level 6, Brimbank Community and Civic Centre301 Hampshire Road, Sunshine
  • Cost: No charge

We're pleased to help residents reduce their household energy costs and get trustworthy advice from energy efficiency experts via a free telephone and email helpline service.

We want environmental services available to householders and to offer you great prices on solar panels to help reduce your energy use and power bills.

This important service will also ensure Brimbank does its bit to combat the effects of climate change.

Positive Charge offers recommendations on energy efficiency solutions and renewable energy technologies like solar panels, along with referrals to carefully selected suppliers and products that meet all Australian standards and conditions.

Since launching in 2013, Positive Charge has already helped thousands of households reduce their energy bills.

Brimbank Council and Positive Charge will run workshops in 2017 and 2018 to inform and educate local residents on solar energy and the best ways to access affordable solar suppliers.
