Slow down, settle in, and have a good read - The Reading Hour 2015

Brimbank Libraries will join thousands of people around the country for The Reading Hour on Tuesday 18 August and the whole community is invited to join in.

To celebrate The Reading Hour, parents and caregivers are invited to Deer Park, St Albans, Sunshine or Sydenham library to share a brand new book with their children from 6 to 7pm.

Participants will receive a library bag and anyone borrowing a book during The Reading Hour will go in to the draw to win one of four $25 vouchers.

The aim of The Reading Hour is to encourage parents and care givers to simply read or share a book with their child for 10 minutes a day, an hour a week to promote reading and literacy.

The Reading Hour will take place on Tuesday 18 August from 6 to 7pm at:
