Family Day Care is an early childhood education and care service that provides small group care in the home of suitably selected Educators for children from birth to the 13 years.

The Brimbank Family Day Care Scheme is currently recruiting suitably qualified professionals to join its team of educators to provide:
Education and care for preschool children (minimum three to five days a week)
Play and leisure experiences for school aged children during school holidays only
The Brimbank Family Day Care Scheme offers the opportunity to earn an income working from home.
What You Need
To apply you must hold a Certificate III in Education and Care Services (Children’s Services) or similar, or be currently completing the course.
Educators are also required to:
Be over 18 years of age;
Have a current Police Clearance Certificate (also a requirement for any persons aged 18 years and over living in the applicant’s premises);
Have current Working with Children Check Cards (also a requirement for any persons aged 18 years and over living in the applicant’s home); and
Have a home environment suitable for the provision of quality education and care.
Brimbank Family Day Care Educators work in partnership with parents, Council’s early childhood qualified coordination unit staff, and service management to provide quality education and care of children who reside in Brimbank and surrounding areas.
An information session about the Brimbank Family Day Care Scheme and recruitment process will be held on Wednesday 28 October 2015 from 7-9pm at Brimbank City Council Municipal Offices, 704B Old Calder Highway, Keilor.
