Teddy Bear Hospital @ Deer Park Library

Does your Teddy have a runny nose? A broken bone? A sore tummy? The hiccups? A funny cough? A headache? A broken heart?... If so, maybe you need a ‘Teddy Bear Doctor’!

The Teddy Bear Hospital will be visiting Deer Park Library on Tuesday 9 December 2014 from 1 to 2.30pm.

Bring your Teddy for a check-up at the Teddy Bear Hospital and help your child overcome their fear of doctors and hospitals.

The program is for preschool children and their families and will be run by library staff and students from Melbourne University’s Teddy Bear Hospital Program.

The main aim of the Teddy Bear Hospital is to familiarise children with health care environments and medical treatments in a fun and interactive way, by creating a positive interaction between the child and the ‘Teddy Bear Doctor’.

Deer Park Library is on the corner of Neale and Station roads, Deer Park.

Phone  the library on 9249 4660 or visit brimbanklibraries.vic.gov.au for more details.
